Good rest with the scent of heritage
Rooms are decent size, beds comfortable. Very clean. Excellent shower. Restaurant on site - possibility to eat right there. We stayed during very rainy and stormy night, but everything worked properly. Rich and tasty breakfast. Historical building nicely adjusted to modern standards and needs. Bad: N/A

Bathroom was modern, all clean, breakfast yummy and lots of choices.on the roof patioor inside.The sauna was kind of convoluted to get to but clean and relaxing. even slippers and robes wee provided. Dinner was great as the chef even came to help us with English translation.Beautiful old house.with lovely solarium.. Bad: The view from our window was a hill 4 ft. away. The landscaping around the lake could uses some gardening spruce up..Checking out we found the worker talking in the bar.

Our room was in a side building and upstairs. The castle is beautiful with well kept grounds which we enjoyed for an after breakfast stroll. There are facilities for events and conferences. The restaurant doubles for dinner and breakfast - both were top notch. We did not want to leave this hotel!!! Parking was included on the grounds. Bad: The side building is a newer building so it would have been nice if they thought about an elevator.

Good value. General comment: You might want to have a car to get there conveniently. Bad: Our room was not in the main building but a house next door. No problem so far. However, that house was locked at night and guests don't get keys for the front door. So you have to go to the reception if you want to enter. Annoying. The sofa chairs had stains on them.

Room was clean, area of the Hotel is nice. Breakfast is fine. Stuff is very polite. Bad: Furniture is quite old. I would say, that Hotel has rather 3 then 4 Stars. But for one night it's ok.

The hotel is in a lovely location, out in the countryside and not too far from the main roads. The rooms are modest, clean and in a quiet location. Bad: Having stayed at a number of locations during this vacation I found that this hotel was the most expensive. Breakfast is not included in the tariff and the picture of the hotel is misleading because you don’t actually stay in the main building as that appears to be for weddings and other events. The accommodation is in a separate annex next door.

Located deeply in rural area and is little known. To the hotel complex belong several buildings which leave mixed impression. Guest accommodation, event rooms and restaurant are not under one roof. - The historical house, which walls are over 11 centuries old, is used for events. It is truly a hidden gem with 5* and absolutely worth visiting. It is lovingly renovated and has imposing interiors - fantastic Knight Hall, beautiful central wooden staircase, chimneys - and posses special romantic flavor, particularly in evening light. Well-kept garden with pond complement the ensemble. - Guest rooms are located in another contemporary building and contrast with Castle-style. This part is rather 3*: clean but small rooms with narrow bathroom, old fitting carpets (a problem for allergy suffers), worn-out furniture, no tee facilities. - The restaurant is pretty mediocre. Food without soul. The hotel also has wellness areas with sauna and a big sport hall. The place is well suitable for events,and seminars or for a short stay. Big disadvantage - extremely poor connection with public transportation, even taxi is a problem. It's also a pity that historical facts about the Castle are not well presented...
